Lynn Offenhartz

Lynn Offenhartz has been working in health information technology for more than 10 years. She’s expert in driving consensus from diverse stakeholder groups and is specifically adept at working with technology vendors and physician organizations. Through her executive experience in the medical malpractice insurance industry, Lynn also offers clients invaluable insights about medical errors and the role technology plays in improving outcomes, reducing errors and cutting costs.

Her recent work includes managing a state-level ePrescribing initiative representing such diverse industries as automotive, pharmacy benefit management, health plan and healthcare IT. Lynn has also been involved in a number of market research projects exploring different facets of ePrescribing.

Prior to joining Point-of-Care Partners, Lynn was Director of Strategic Group Operations for the ePrescribing company formerly known as ePhysician. In that role, she worked closely with managed care companies, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and physicians to implement ePrescribing projects. She also worked with state pharmacy boards to influence acceptance of ePrescribing.

Lynn began her career handling malpractice claims for a physician-owned professional liability company. She transitioned to working on behalf of hospitals and ultimately became Chief Operating Officer of one of the largest hospital and healthcare entity risk-sharing pools in California.

Lynn graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Sociology.
